Friday, July 12, 2024: TIME & PLACE

Time is intricately tied to place and influences agriculture, cultural traditions, and handmade techniques. Join us for Day 1 of the Speaker Series, where we'll explore the profound connection between identity and place through communities, artists, textiles, and natural dyes.

Saturday, July 13, 2024: SHARING WISDOM

In our handmade future, education and sharing wisdom will be key. Knowledge will inspire students, empower makers, and inform clients about collections. Craft techniques will carry narration and information. Artists will also become teachers through their work, sustaining products and production in communities globally.

Sunday, July 14, 2024: CONNECTING GENERATIONS

The craft continuum is a powerful time measurement, illustrating how knowledge can span decades or even centuries. It honors generational links, sometimes upending gendered conventions, and envisions a future of making that is interwoven with both the past and the present.
