An Evening with Hilos y Colores

IFAM invites you to celebrate the holidays with textile artists Mercedes Yauri Ataucusi and Natividad Flores, visiting from Ayacucho, Peru. Mercedes and Nati, mother and daughter, manage the social enterprise Hilos y Colores, working to preserve ancestral textile techniques and support artisan communities in the Andes. Hilos y Colores works with 800 women artisans in 30 communities throughout Ayacucho and have attended the International Folk Art Market in 2019, 2022, and 2024.

Please join us for a festive dinner with cocktails and entertainment at Cafecito restaurant. This event will celebrate Hank Coleman’s tenure as Board Chair, and support IFAM’s work to support living traditions and thriving communities around the world.
