I will be conducting two Shiftboard online trainings in the next few weeks. I invite you to attend, if you are available. If you’re unable to attend either session, and need help getting set up or need a refresher, contact me and we can set up a remote screen-sharing session so you can be sitting in front of your computer.
The online trainings are:
Wednesday, March 14, 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, March 21, 9-10 a.m.
To view my screen as we tour Shiftboard, go to:  It will ask you to enter your name and email address before joining the session.
You will also need to use your telephone for audio. Please call (605) 472-5247 and enter the access code 805104.
I will record these sessions and post them on the Volunteer Chair area of our website for reference.
Please note – These trainings will focus on the tasks involved in viewing, accepting, scheduling and communicating with your teams. We will address reporting functions at a later date.
As requested, please plan to have your shifts built no later than March 27th. Please “build” your shifts but don’t “publish” them. I will “publish” them before registration opens on April 2nd.
I will send an email to ALL SANTA FE volunteers on March 19th, asking volunteers to log in and update their information – and to notify us if they plan to return or take the year off. I will also ask them to remove themselves from teams they do not volunteer on so your contact lists will be as accurate as possible.
Some of you manage teams that are not open to general enrollment. If you do NOT want me to notify your volunteers of the registration dates, please notify me. Or, you may contact them in advance and give them your dates. Please inform them that your dates supersede mine.
If your team isn’t quite ready to open registration on April 2nd (those related to artist travel or interpreters), please email your team members and tell them they will be contacted as soon as the schedule is complete.
