The IOU Project makes unique, handmade, traceable apparel. Each item is made from a different two-meter textile known as a Lungi, a fabric hand-woven for centuries in the Tamil Nadu region of India. Because each fabric is unique, the IOU Project provides end buyers with the ability to trace the process from finished item right down to the weaver that hand-wove the fabric. The stories of how the items were created, the people involved, and the customers who purchased them, are the essence of the e-commerce social network. The IOU Project has built a meeting place for a community that shares our brand values of authenticity, transparency, uniqueness and both social and environmental responsibility.

EILEEN FISHER’S Renew project focuses on building a better fashion industry by transforming the conventional cycle of consumerism and design a future without waste. The take-back and reuse program aims to preserve the value of our clothes at every stage, in any condition and transform them into timeless pieces. Clothes are donated that can no longer be worn, are transformed and remade to one-of-a-kind designs—and scraps are saved because they’re tomorrow’s raw materials. Renew project works closely with IFAM artist and their materials including Adiv Pure Nature with yellow marigold Dyes, Juana Gutierrez Contreras with the reds, pinks, oranges, and purples of cochineal, Gasali Adeyemo with Yoruba indigo, and Haiti Projects with fine embroidery.
