Your purchase of folk art at the International Folk Art Market | Santa Fe makes a life-changing impact on the artists. 90% of all sales income goes home with the artists, helping them to educate their children and support their communities. The Market retains only 10% to offset some production costs.
There are several centralized payment areas at the Market and the purchasing process is very simple:
1) Visitors select the art they want.
2) They then take a written receipt that reflects the object(s) price to any of the designated payment areas and pay with credit card, debit card, cash, or check.
3) They return to the artist(s) booth with a validated ticket that indicates they have paid. This allows them to pick up their new work and take it home to enjoy – that’s it!
This centralized payment system provides visitors with a hands-free shopping experience. It also allows the International Folk Art Alliance to track sales revenue at the Market, which translates to the organization paying thousands of tax dollars to the state each year, bolstering New Mexico’s economy.
There is an ATM on site during the event.
Please remember that all sales are final.
